Our third release comes from Žhii out of Edmonton, AB. Cloaca Maxima is a series of extended improvisations, live takes of analog synthesizers, guitars, and heavily effected percussion. It is supplemented with instrumental flourishes, live and synthetic drumming, and found sound recorded in an industrial warehouse.

"The improvisations were recorded at various points throughout 2013, and consisted mostly of droning atmospherics and loops played on Moog synths and guitars, and filtered through layers of effects. The idea was to juxtapose these impossible-to-replicate patches and improvisations with the tools of electronic music that allow you to perpetually edit, revise, reprogram and reproduce." -Žhii
